Writing is easy. Marketing is hard.

A couple of days ago, I offered to give away, free, my two published works, Sempiternus and Meadow (in Kindle format), to anyone willing to read and then post a customer review on Amazon. So far, only four people have taken me up on the offer. I sincerely hope that I do get at least one or two reviews out of it.

Last September, I ran a Labor Day sale of Sempiternus. Four people bought the book in four days.

I did a FREE giveaway of Sempiternus on Veteran’s day. 192 people downloaded the book. Sadly, none of these people reviewed the book.

I published my second work, Meadow, in mid-December 2020. Four sales so far, despite aggressive advertising through my Facebook Author Page. I would love to advertise on one (or more) of several book-selling sites available here online – except that many of them require a minimum of five (or sometimes ten) positive reviews on Amazon before they will accept the ad. In the first 16 days since publishing, Meadow has zero reviews.

Sempiternus, on the other hand, has seven reviews – all of them good. And all of them are greatly appreciated by yours truly.

The offer still stands. I will give anyone a free Kindle copy of one, or both, books. You can request a copy by emailing me at: bruce.w.berg.1957@gmail.com. All I ask in return is an honest review. In the meantime, I’ve dropped the Kindle price on both books to 99 cents – and, as always, if you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read them for free!

Thanks for listening, and check out my BookBub page when you get the chance: https://www.bookbub.com/authors/bruce-w-berg
